Two New Dual Port Chargepoint | City of Rochester

The City of Rochester is pleased to announce the installation of two new dual-port Chargepoint electric vehicle chargers. One is in the parking lot east of City Hall, the second is in the parking lot east of Main between Second and Third street.

This initiative is part of the city's ongoing efforts to promote sustainability and support the use of electric vehicles.

With the new dual-port Chargepoint electric vehicle chargers, Rochester residents and visitors will have access to convenient and reliable charging options for their electric vehicles. Each charger can charge two vehicles at the same time, making it easier for drivers to access charging stations even during peak usage hours.

We are excited to offer these new dual-port Chargepoint electric vehicle chargers to our community. This is an important step towards our goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions and promoting sustainable transportation options for our residents.

The Chargepoint chargers are equipped with advanced features such as remote access, real-time charging status updates, and automatic billing. Users can easily track their charging sessions, pay for their usage, and receive notifications when their vehicle is fully charged.

The City of Rochester encourages all electric vehicle owners to take advantage of these new charging stations, which are located in a central and accessible location in the city. By choosing to drive electric vehicles and utilizing these charging stations, residents and visitors can help to reduce emissions and support a cleaner and more sustainable future.

For more information about the new dual-port Chargepoint electric vehicle chargers, please visit the City of Rochester website or contact the Department of Environmental Services at (585) 428-5990.
